Saturday 7th June 2003 was the opening night of Maison De Sade in Weston Super Mare, England.

We arrived at 8.15 and were welcomed by Master Phil and his slave Morgan. The venue was excellent, a sort of U shape, one side containing a bar, DJ and dance floor together with 2 small stalls and the other side another bar, a viewing area and huge play area. Music was separate too just at the right level, Loads of equipment to use and a split level stage with poles and cross members. A huge stainless steel spider?s web dominated one corner and numerous crosses and benches were around the room.
Very nice to see so many familiar faces and so many more new ones we had not met before. People appeared to have really made an effort to travel to this event.
We spent a large part of the evening chatting to friends and I was pleased to get the chance to get some advice from Alex Jacob (Cobra Whips) about a new purchase for me.
My slave, Amber, looked amazing as always, a new custom designed latex corset and skirt in baby pink.
One of the highlights of the evening for us was seeing Alex and slave Aureus together in the play area. I had known for some weeks that this was likely to happen and we had both been looking forward to it.
Amber, Aureus and I entered the play space and I took Aureus?s dress from her and she then climbed onto the stage carrying her water bottle. She wore her new s/s cuffs and leg irons but was not restrained. She raised her hands and we settled down to watch Alex at work.
Alex was using a stockwhip; I would guess at around 9? in length, he stood diagonally in the room to give himself the space to work. Aureus was on a stage about 4? high whilst Alex was on a lower platform, perhaps 2? high.
His first dozen or so lashes came in a very regular pace, controlled, first finding his range, Aureus barely reacting to the lick of the lash. Then things quickened another twenty before Alex moved forward to inspect his handiwork.
I can see well defined stripes appearing now, spread from her shoulders down to her thighs. Alex repositions himself and deals another 20 or so, Aureus is starting to shy from the whip now, hands still raised she arches her back, knees beginning to buckle slightly. Alex rests as Aureus reaches for water.
Alex is aware that his results will be photographed and so uses the final 20 to ?fill in the blanks?, he had said to me earlier that he loves to see good grouping!!!!
Time had stood still for me, I don?t know how long she had been up there, I was transfixed and consumed by the dedication she showed. She is most certainly one of a kind.
Aureus then returned to us and I offered Amber to help Aureus clean up. They disappeared into the toilets together, camera in hand to attend to her trophies. Aureus was quite drained for the remainder of the evening and was later driven home by friends.
Since that evening Amber and I are taking further advice before purchase of our own singletail, that night we left educated and envious. I want to be up there with Amber, perhaps in time when I?m good enough.
We consider Aureus a good friend and value the understanding and advice she has to give, I feel that Amber has learnt so much from her and this I hope will continue. As for Aureus, let?s hope she never changes.
